The Macleay Shire Council took over the records for these cemeteries in the 1960s and those records have been utilised to establish religious denominations, and the row and plot mumbers. The transcript entries are in row and grave order. Family plots, and where clearly evident, these have been combined in the one entry, although separate grave numbers are stated. Entries where a headstone does not exist have been extracted from Council records.

There is an index in each book which allows ease of locating the transcript within the particular volume.

Each of these cemetery transcriptions includes a map of the cemetery which will greatly assist researchers in locating the graves.
